Terms and Conditions of Trade and Delivery

Petalo thanks you for your order and for choosing us as your supplier.

Product Liability:
Petalo is only responsible for damages caused by our products to items/equipment if it can be proven that the damage was caused by a fault or negligence on Petalo’s part. Under no circumstances is Petalo liable for operational losses, lost profits, or other financial losses. To the extent that Petalo is subject to product liability to a third party, the buyer is obligated to indemnify Petalo for Petalo’s liability insofar as it is limited to the aforementioned. If a third party makes a claim for compensation against the buyer due to product damage, the buyer must immediately notify Petalo. In cases where Petalo is required to perform repairs and/or replacement of our products for the buyer, Petalo assumes no responsibility for the buyer’s inventory if our products are not freely accessible for removal. Claims against Petalo must not exceed the invoiced amount for the sold item.

Petalo’s Delivery Policy:
Unless otherwise specified in the order confirmation, delivery is Petalo WORKS and EXCL. INSTALLATION. Delivery is subject to force majeure. The goods are quality-checked at the factory. Please inspect the goods for transport damage before signing for receipt. If you suspect transport damage, please decline to sign for receipt. Changes in delivery time or design alterations must be communicated no later than 4 days after the date of the order confirmation. We only accept returned goods if this has been agreed upon in advance with Petalo. If the item is a standard product, the standard product must be returned no later than 8 days after the invoice date, and the item must arrive in undamaged condition.

A fee of 10% of the product price will be charged upon return. For deliveries delayed due to construction delays, we reserve the right to request cash payment. If Petalo is required to store the goods in an external warehouse, we reserve the right to charge such costs. For orders including installation, the premises/school must be freely accessible, and the installation site must be clear of items. The technical installations must be completed, and the electrical installations for the panels must be properly arranged. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge additional costs. For delayed payments according to the payment terms, interest of 1.0% per month will be added.
